Renault Winery

One of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the nation, Renault offers gourmet dining, a-la-carte dining at Joseph's Restaurant and beautifully appointed rooms to offer a once-in-a-lifetime wedding, banquet or corporate event. Located just across the street from the winery, the Tuscany House Hotel boasts service and accommodations infused with European style. Add the scenically beautiful, 18-hole championship Vineyard Golf course and you have a unique and inviting destination.

Historic Smithville

Smithville is located only a short distance away from where desperate farmers fought for their lands against the invasion of the British during the American Revolution. The towne is bounded on one side by the mysterious Pine Barrens, where stunted trees have proven an unexplainable phenomenon of nature. The buildings of restored Smithville Towne are not facsimiles, but actual structures, brought to the grounds from many points in Southern Jersey, and restored to their original appearances.

Batsto Village

Batsto Village, is a New Jersey historic site located in the South Central Pinelands, which is administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Parks & Forestry. This site is nationally recognized for its historical significance and beauty. The roots of Batsto Village can be traced back to 1766. Two centuries of American history are available to visitors, with the Pinelands environment as a scenic backdrop.

New Jersey Korean War Memorial

The New Jersey Korean War Veterans Memorial, like the previously completed Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will help to heal the spiritual and psychological wounds suffered by the Korean War veterans, their families and friends. Part of the healing process is to understand America’s involvement in that struggle, what it accomplished, and the contribution of our men and women who served.

Atlantic City Beach & Boardwalk

Construction on Atlantic City’s world-famous Boardwalk began in 1870, and from then on it has become an America icon. Stroll along the Boardwalk and enjoy ocean views on one side and shopping on the other, ranging from high-end retail to saltwater taffy shops. Atlantic City Beach and Boardwalk activities include surfing, kayaking, windsurfing and fishing.

Ocean City Beach

Ocean City offers 8 miles of pristine white sand, ample space for beautiful sand castles, and plenty of coastline to enjoy swimming in the waves. With a population of less than 12,000, Ocean City, New Jersey is like a breath of fresh sea air, providing a welcome change of pace from those congested vacation resorts. There’s plenty of room for exploring, wandering, or simply finding a peaceful spot to watch the tide roll in.

Wharton State Forest

Throughout Wharton are rivers and streams for canoeing, hiking trails (including a major section of the Batona Trail), miles of unpaved roads for mountain biking and horseback riding and numerous lakes, ponds and fields ideal for wildlife observation. Bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, marsh hawks, ospreys, great blue herons, swans, screech owls, great-horned owls, bluebirds, hummingbirds, purple martins, goldfinch, turkeys, beavers, river otters, fox and deer are only some of the wildlife the alert visitor can see. Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge protects more than 47,000 acres of southern New Jersey coastal habitats which is actively managed for migratory birds. The refuge’s location in one of the Atlantic Flyway’s most active flight paths makes it an important link in seasonal bird migration. Its value for the protection of water birds and their habitat continues to increase as people develop the New Jersey shore for our own use.
